A handball shoe from the 1980s served as the model for the adidas Handball Spezial Navy Gum.

This sneaker has a nubuck suede upper and is colored in Gum, White, Navy, and Sky Blue. Additional characteristics include an OrthoLite insole with the adidas emblem, the "Spezial" Trefoil logo on the lateral in gold foil, the trademark 3-Stripes on the sides, and branding on the tongue. This shoe features a round toe and a lace-up closure with theme-coordinating navy blue laces. The retro aesthetic is completed with a gum rubber outsole.
